I absolutely love TED talks. The TED convention is the world’s greatest thinkers and doers presenting on their corner of the world. Some of my favorites:

Jonathan Harris tells the Web’s secret storiesBrilliant! He’a s a programmer an artist and a good speaker.

Al Gore on climate crisis Who knew he could be an engaging speaker???

Wil Wright, creator of the Sims, and Sim City. If you haven’t seen a Spore preview—it looks awesome, and I’m not a gamer, unless you count Desktop Tower Defense.

Deep-cave explorer, NASA collaborator, volunteer for a one-way trip to Mars.

Hans Rosling – Misconceptions about the first and third world. Inspiring—maybe there’s hope, and what a neat way to present!
